Kiera
Ever-patient mom to mischief makers Riddick
and Vannay, Kiera is one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. When
I took her in, her twins were two weeks old and meticulously cared for.
Kiera greets everybody with a purr, including the five other kittens
that she and her family had to share quarters with. Kiera was nursing
7 kittens by the time her two were ready for solid food, and she mothered
the 5 foundlings as readily as her own twins. Since weaning her brood,
Kiera has rediscovered a liking for high places and an interest in the
turbo scratcher. I guesstimate her at 1 - 2 years old. She
has been spayed and will make some lucky person a wonderful companion.
Amos
For such a gentle and sweet soul, the world
has been kind of rough on Amos. He is a rescued cat who just wants
a home and family to call his own. Almost all black, he has a tiny
spot of white on his chest. There is also a tiny dot of white at
the base of his right ear, where he had surgery a couple months ago to
remove a harmless polyp. Amos has recovered beautifully, and rediscovered
his fascination with all things climbable. He is about 7 months old
and already neutered. Amos is a sweet and mellow cat who will share
your armchair by day and occupy the foot of the bed, if only you give him
a home.
